All payments are due on the first class of the session.
Late payment $10/- will be charged .
Typically the class begins with a warm up session , and basic foot work training and actual chorography and practice.
End of the class, we will video tape the new routine, this will be the practice tool for the students .
NO make up session will be given if any class is missed , students will have to go over the video for the update.No refunds or prorated .
If the student quits in between the session , NO refunds available nor transferred .All though we will hold a position in the next quareter, and not later to that.
If the students joins in between the session, we will be prorating the amount in the session fees.
Typically a $ 20 – $35/- will be charged towards costumes and accessory rentals. This will be addressed at the begining of the session if not towards the end of the session.
All classes are designed to have fun while learning , students are encouraged to experience the passion for dance.
The classes are divided into competitive batches and non-competitive batches. Students will be trained appropriately based on their choice of enrollment.
Competitive batch:
The competitions for the season will be planned at the year end. All competition participants must have had at least 3 sessions training under Kriyaa Dance Academy.Exceptions will be made upon auditioning .
The classes for these groups will have intense training , students will be auditioned and selected students will be taking part in the upcoming competition.
Classical dance background is not a must, if you do its an added advantage .
The fees will still remain the same, competition enrollment and costume rental fee will be charged separately. All fees must be paid with your session fees.In addition to this, there will be a $50/- refundable registration fee charged .
The competitive batches will be having extra classes, every class will be charged .
The music selection will be done as per the categories in the competition.
Non-competitive batch:
We have performance quarters and non performance quarters. Every performance quarter we have our in house productions like our Winter fest, Spring/ Summer fest and Annual fest
Students are encouraged to take part in various social events around the Bay Area .
Its important that the students stick to their batch. Leaving the group will result in $50/- penalty.
